I tried running the bolt properly and then also running the bolt with improper pressures (sloppy technique) in different directions and some actions would bind, some would not bind but you could feel play, but the M3 from my experience won overall. It would not bind, It felt like it had the least play, and was just as smooth feeling as the more expensive custom actions. I was able to compare the original Havak Hit action vs the new Havak Hit M3 action side by side and there is a very large difference. The Havak Hit was on my list of rifles to feel up after consuming all the internet knowledge I could find on it. I'd agree with the comments of the original Havak action lacking when compared to custom actions. It felt more on par with typical production actions like Ruger. The original HIT was very smooth. It the only factory built rifle I own but I bought one in 6.5PRC and I was surprised at how nice the action was. Not so much the lack of availability in barrels and bolts, and I’ve probably only put 100 rounds through it, but the rifle itself is nice. These rifles have pleasantly surprised me and most of my competition guns are MPA Vanquish or MPA matrix pro PMR. These give those good competition. These punch over thier weight class and Glen says if he can’t make you happy he will buy the gun back from you. Who does that!! More replies ... I got the original hit pro in 6.5 and prc is a blast to shoot!
